Christie Brinkley learnt In Her divorce That Marriage Is Ridiculous

The veteran supermodel Christie Brinkley says she's learned a thing or two about herself and marriage in recent years.

Christie Brinkley opened up in a new interview with The UK newspaper The Telegraph about her past marriages and how she realized she will never walk down the aisle ever again.

I can now say unequivocally, I would never get married again. There's absolutely no reason to. I learnt in my divorce that marriage is ridiculous, Brinkley told the newspaper when asked about her past marriages. You take a vow but you don't get brownie points when you honor your vow and the other person doesn't.

The court doesn't recognize that. It's like, All right now, let's see how we're going to divvy up the kids. Well, obviously, the one that didn't break the vows should be the role model. But no, she added.

Christie Brinkley has been married four times, to artist Jean-François Allaux, Billy Joel, real estate developer Richard Taubman and most recently to architect Peter Halsey Cook. Brinkley and Cook finalized their divorce in October 2008.

Christie Brinkley Receives Advice From Billy Joel Ahead Of Her Broadway Debut

The Former Supermodel, Christie Brinkley received advice from her ex-husband famous singer and songwriter Billy Joel ahead of her debut in Chicago.

Christie Brinkley landed the leading role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway version of the hit musical Chicago.

Brinkley made her promotional rounds ahead of her debut Friday. On her stop to Good Morning America, Brinkley discussed on she got the lead role.

They asked me, she said. Flattered and puzzled by the offer Brinkley stated that she insisted on still auditioning for the part to make she was the right fit.

Billy Joel helped with my projection, Christie Brinkley told GMA. Brinkley continued saying the Billy helped her project her voice without losing it.
