Actress Leelee Sobieski will star in CBS' drama Rookies, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The Rookies centers on six new NYPD cops trying to balance their personal lives while working the mean streets of Manhattan. Sobieski, 28, will play Gen Perry, a California girl who previously worked as a member of the White House Color Guard.
Robert De Niro will act as executive producer along with crime novelist Richard Price Clockers and Little Fockers producer Jane Rosenthal.
Leelee Sobieski got her break in the CBS TV movie Joan of Arc, also starred in Deep Impact and Never Been Kissed. She recently guest-starred on The Good Wife.
